This brewery has been going for 120 years and has been a family-run business for 4 generations. The De Ryck family brews 8 traditional-style beers according to authentic methods. The woman who currently runs the business is one the few female brewers in the country: An De Ryck.

The brewery can also be visited by groups throughout the year.

Visiting arrangements

A guided tour with tasting session lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Groups of 15 people or more can visit the brewery any day of the week, provided they make an appointment.

Admission fee

€5 per person (incl. tasting 2 beers). For groups with less than 15 participants: fixed fee of €75.

Brouwerij De Ryck has created a special beer brandy on the basis of its "Special De Ryck". An De Ryck is one of the few female brewers around. The "Special De Ryck" (category "Spéciale Belge") and the brewery's Christmas beer have been classified as regional products by the VLAM (the Flemish centre for the promotion of agricultural and fisheries' products). The company also makes beer pâté, beer cheese, beer chocolates, beer jam, beer sorbet and beer schnapps ("Bierblomme").
